MNCup #6 update

photoOur races this coming weekend are looking better and better. 3″ of fairly heavy snow today and still snowing. We have been shoveling at both the range and at the ARB in town the last few days in preparation for the MNCup #6 biathlon on Saturday [10:00 zero]  and the Lumberjack Jaunt 6/16km citizens race on Sunday at 11:00, so this will pack and level down nicely on top of our hard work!!!

Come join us–and we will have a pot of soup and some sandwich items over here at our house after the biathlon race on Saturday. You can register online yet for the LJJ and that includes a meal for the participants.

Shooting Test Results

It is a really good idea to pick one of these tests for each time you shoot. Send me your results and I will post them.

Other shooting ideas include shooting with a planned heartrate on paper—like cold zero on one, 160 HR on bravo, 170 HR on charlie, 180 HR on Delta and 190 HR on Echo. See where your best shooting occurs.

Do plyos and combine with the 50 shot on metal.

Set a goal on a combo route, running or skiing, and count the misses while maintaining that pace.

Race biathlon as much as you can—preferably on roller skis or skis!!
