Fasterskier article on USBA team trials with video

Here is an article and some short video clips of a race on roller skis at Jericho [where we competed in August]. Two races in August and two just completed were the trials for the last spots on the US World Cup team for the early season. IBU trials in December at Mt Itasca before Christmas will be used to pick some additional members to start at the IBU [2nd tier] level and possibly move up to the World Cup later.

National Guard Central Regional Championships – This Weekend – January 23 – 27

January 24 Thursday Camp Ripley Official Training
January 25 Friday Camp Ripley Sprint
January 26 Saturday Camp Ripley Pursuit

Zero is at 9:00 both days.  Races are at 10:00    [those might be delayed if the overnight temps get too low so that by scheduled zero it is still below –4F]

Friday race is a 10K sprint for men.

Saturday is a pursuit format—the Juniors and Seniors do 12.5km

Cost is $20 per race.
