Results from yesterday’s Youth Olympic Games Single Mixed Relay. 21st. Each skier skis two laps [p,s w/ relay rounds] then tags off. Then they do it a second time [3rd and 4th legs] , with the man doing a finish lap after his last shoot. So 6 km for the woman and 7.5km for the man each with 4 shootings.
Kaisa took a spill on the first lap of the first leg on an icy corner, did well on the second leg. 2 extra rounds to clean in prone the 1stleg, and 1 in the 3rd leg in standing to clean. Her partner didn’t fare as well in the range with numerous extra rounds and 4 penalty loops after using up his extras.
Coming up on tomorrow is the Sprint race for both Men and Women.
