Kaisa Bosek placed 18^th in first Biathlon event at the Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland

US Biathlete Kaisa Bosek, 17,  Alexandria, MN finished 18^th in the 1^st Biathlon Event of the Youth Olympic Games. This event takes place every 4 yrs for athletes in their later teens and is sponsored by the International Olympic Committee. There were 93 finishers. 

Kaisa shot 0,0,2,0 and finished the 10km course in 36:30.8. The winner, Alena Mokhova of Russia shot 1,0,0,1 and finished in 32:26. 

Lexie Madigan of California shot 3,2,1,2 and finished in 39:59 for 55^th and Maja Lapkiss of Anchorage, shot 1,4,2,3 and finished 69^th. 

Up tomorrow is the single mixed relay. The teams have not been named as of yet.
