What: A two day clinic for parents, coaches and officials. USBA Level one Officials Certification program and Classroom and range work for USBA Level one Coaches certification.
Where: Mt Itasca – Coleraine MN
When: 10:00 am Saturday, 6th of May to noon Sunday 7th of May.
Cost: Mt Itasca Biathlon members- free
Officials class only– $10
Both classes $30

RSVP It is critical that I get a pretty exact count by the 30th by email. I will be printing up class materials the next week. Also see note on housing.
Housing: We have housing arrangements [your sleeping bag and mattress] for the first 10 that sign up. Others are on own.
Meals: Suggest you bring a lunch for Saturday. Saturday dinner is on your own.
Need:
- A laptop computer if you have one.

- a folding chair
- a rifle if you have access to one. The club will not provide rifles.
- 100-200 rds of ammo
Tentative schedule:
10:00- noon Introduction, Coaching, History, MN organization,
12:30 to 4:00– Simulator Demo, shooting basics, safety, fitting rifles, shooting positions. Classroom and range
4:00- 5:00 — Advanced coaching for shooting
5:00- 6:30– break for dinner
6:30- 8:30– Officials Course– How to run a race, problems and solutions
8:45 —- open discussion, Direction of MNBiathlon
8:00- 10:00 am– Officials test–concurrent
8:00- 9:00 Physiology and training plans -concurrent
9:00 – 10:00– shooting drills on range
10:00 – noon- Coaches test
