Minnesota Biathlon

123 Competitors took the course today in both an Experienced Biathlon Race and a Novice Race. Junior Team Member Raleigh Goessling held off both Olympian Garrot Kuzzy and Marathon winner Matt Liebsch (both shot 2x prone on standing and 2x standing on standing). Overcast skies in the early experienced race turned to blue skies and sunshine for the Novice event.

• Zero – 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
• Experienced Race Start – 10:00 AM
• Cost – $20.00 – Please make checks to MN Biathlon
• You need to have your OWN rifle and ammo

NOVICE RACERS!   Try Biathlon – No Experience Necessary!

The Novice Race is Full – We have hit our registration limit for novice racers (100). There will be another novice event next weekend in Grand Rapids, and we will plan on an event in Elk River in April or May. Sorry to have to turn anyone away.

• Novice Clinic – 11:00 AM (arrive by 10:30am to register)
  • Instruction, Rifles, and Ammo included
• Novice Race Start – 11:45 AM
  • Harder Race – 7K (3 x 2.3K challenging course)
  • Easier Race – 2.5K (3 x 0.8K easier course)
• Cost -   $20 all Junior Novice (under 21)

-       $30 all Senior Novice (21 and up)

-       $20 all Experienced racers
