World Cup Premier for Wynn Roberts

jake | March 9, 2009

Besides the usual team members, the coaches will also welcome two newcomers in Canada: Wynn Roberts and Sara Studebaker will join the team on the Olympic courses. Both are highly motivated for their first World Cup races – especially since they will take place on the tracks of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

“I am really excited to get the opportunity to race with the top biathletes in the world. The best way to really move to the next level with your training and racing is a large serving of humble pie, and this should be a pretty good piece. This is an opportunity that many athletes would love to have and I am just excited that I will be able to represent the United States at next years Olympic site”, states Wynn Roberts who proved to be the best U.S. junior at the World junior Champs in Canmore.

If you also want to see what happens in Whistler you can watch the World Cup live here: Click the WATCH US LIVE ON THE WEB link above the news box at www.USBiathlon.org . The first race will start on March 11th at 1:15p.m. EST.
