Minnesota Biathlon

A small but enthusiastic group raced a 10K Mass Start (PPSS) roller ski race sponsored by Minnesota Biathlon and Twin Cities Biathlon at the Elk River Biathlon Range.

Temperatures were in the 70s with light rain and calm winds. The range and roller ski trails were in great shape. Over half of the Experienced racers were current or former members of the USBA Olympic, National, or Junior National teams.

Wynn Roberts (Mt. Itasca / USBA Jr. National Team) was the overall and Mens Junior winner in a time of 33:35 with 7 penalties.

Carloyn Bramante (Twin Cities and former USBA Olympic and National Team) was the Womens Senior winner, third overall in a time of 37:23, and took overall shooting honors with only 3 penalties.

Raleigh Goessling (Duluth/Esko / USBA Jr. National Team) was the Mens Youth winner in a time of 36.29 with 7 penalties.

Jenna Ruzich (Northwest) was the Womens Youth winner in a time of 50:34 with 7 penalties.

Joe Wieber (St. Cloud) was the Novice Mens Youth winner.
